A Lomi, from places I have been to and even still is to this day, does not have a third of the magic like this Lomi Special at Amber’s. Let’s Cook Lomi Special At Home!

Ingredients:

  • 250 g pancit miki
  • 50 g chicken liver
  • Squid balls
  • 125 g shrimp
  • 250 g chicken
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1/2 cabbage
  • Spring onion (chopped)
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • Celery (chopped)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 to 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp vinegar
  • Eggs
  • Pork rinds

Cooking Instructions:

  • Place water into a pot then heat until boiling, then add the noodles and cook them. After it is cooked, the noodles should be set aside for use later, depending on the next cooking step in the recipe.
  • If using fresh tomatoes, heat oil in a pan, then fry the onion and garlic until golden brown. Until the chicken is browned, add some salt and stir the chicken.
  • After the chicken is no longer pink, add the squid balls, liver, and shrimp. Combine everything and cook until flavorful, 5 minutes. Then, sprinkle black pepper.
  • Now, add the chicken broth, soy sauce, Knorr seasoning, oyster sauce, and vinegar to the mixture. Lid the pan and then after some min let it to be on the heat.
  • Add the noodles, carrots, and cabbage. In a few more minutes, throw the lid off. Mix everything and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • To thicken the mixture add 1/2 cup of water and two tablespoons of cornstarch into the mixture slowly. It ends with stirring continuously in order not to form lumps.
  • The last thing I’ll add is the bell pepper and celery, and then slowly fold the beaten eggs into the mixture while forming ribbons. Stir and let the dish to cook for an additional one minutes.
  • Your hot, delicious soup is ready to serve!
