  • Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Add the Parmesan cheese slowly, stirring constantly to ensure it melts smoothly. The orzo should now be creamy and cohesive, similar to a risotto but with a pasta texture.
  • Stir in the sun dried tomatoes, spinach, Italian seasoning, and red chili flakes. Cook gently until the spinach wilts and the sauce thickens slightly. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper.
  • Add the cooked shrimp back into the pot. Gently fold them into the creamy orzo. Cook for another 2 minutes, just until everything is warmed through. Remove from heat and let rest briefly before serving.
